Small Steps to Vibrant Health

Sometimes it helps to break things down into small steps. Trying to do too much at once can lead to failure. When it comes to improving our health, success is what we want. It’s best to make it easy on ourselves. If you’re struggling to work at improving your health, try to break it down into small steps.

Dr. Young - The pH Miracle

Monday, September 17th, 2007

I have recently been re-reading one of my absolute favorite books; The pH Miracle, by Dr. Robert O. Young and Shelley Redford Young. In the very first chapter he hits the nail on the the head when it comes to balancing your pH and getting alkaline. Let me share this quote from page 6:

“Bottom Line: This program will bring you increased quality and quantity of life. I guarantee you’ll see immediate improvement. Your energy will increase, you’ll find new mental clarity and powers of concentration, you’ll build strength and stamina, and you’ll lose excess body fat while increasing muscle mass. You’ll have bright eyes and clear skin. You’ll look better. You’ll improve your athletic performance. Your entire body will function more efficiently. Whatever health challenges you’ve been facing will improve and most likely evaporate altogether. In short, you’ll regain all the effortless energy and wellness you thought was lost with your childhood. With the healing, wholeness, and rejuvenation that this program brings, you’ll experience, possibly for the first time in your life, vibrant personal health.

Now that’s a guarantee! I have been personally following a pH balancing program myself for the last 7 years. The results in my own life speak for themselves.

Modern Medicine and Herbal Remedies

Wednesday, September 12th, 2007

Last night we had an information packed TeleSeminar where we discussed some of the differences between pharmaceutical drugs and herbs. Sometimes they can be used together for best results. Often there is an herbal alternative that is safer and possibly even more effective than a drug. John also talks about the importance of doing a liver cleanse if taking medications. Many drugs (legal ones) can be harmful to the liver.

You can listen to the recording here. It will be available for 1 week only.

Encouraging Report!

Tuesday, September 11th, 2007

It’s very heartwarming when I hear a success story from someone who is using natural methods to improve their health. Here is a recent message that I received:

—–

I have had Barrett’s esophagus, a pre-cancerous condition for about 10 years. My doctor just called with the results of my upper GI scope that I had Wednesday. The nurse stated that my Barretts has disappeared, ….healed itself……. I did not know it was possible to reverse a pre-cancerous condition.

For this I must thank John Houser, herbalist, Mark Strozier, chiropractor, Dave Powers, chiropractor and Doctors Oz and Roisen from the Cleveland Clinic for their wisdom.

This past year I have consumed gallons of reverse osmosis water, taken X20 from Okinawa, eaten all kinds of tree nuts, cut out peanut butter, Take Reliv daily, also Calm, a magnesium supplement as well probiotics and followed the advice of Dr. Roisen’s Real Age Makeover newsletter that I receive weekly concerning the healthful fruits and vegetables.

In addition, I have lowered my blood pressure to the point that I stopped taking one medication and am aiming to eliminate the other

Needless to say that you guys have ‘made my day’.

Thanks again

What is X2O?

Friday, September 7th, 2007

This is a question I get all the time at www.AskTheHerbalist.net. I have been personally drinking Xtreme X20 water every single day for the last 7 years. X2O greatly improves the hydrating power of water by lowering the surface tension. As well Xtreme X20 adds over 70 trace minerals to your water in highly bio-available form. MOST importantly X2O makes water highly alkaline, helping to offset overacidity in the body. If you consume too many acid forming foods, check out X2O!

Fresher Fruit

Thursday, August 23rd, 2007

The more a fruit is allowed to ripen on the vine (or tree, bush, plant) the more alkaline it tends to be.

Generally speaking riper fruit is more alkaline forming in the body. This is a great asset for those trying to balance their pH levels. For more about the benefits of an alkaline diet click here.

This is yet another reason to favor, fresh, locally grown produce. Much of the fruit found in supermarkets, was picked upripe and shipped long distances to the store. Fully ripe fruit just does not travel well.

Aside from being more alkaline, fruit that has been allowed to fully ripen while still attached to it’s life source typically tastes better, is juicier and has a higher enzyme content.

Ask your produce manager at the store which fruits are in season. Also check out farmer’s markets and local roadside stands. Best of all grow a few fruit trees in your yard, it’s great fun and very fruitful.
